Sounds good, should have thrown an onion on the lump, that will kick it up a few notches. I learned that why back when I started with the forum. I make it a point if doing a lo and slo to have a couple on hand.
Regards,
Bordello -
Really an onion!!! What's it do? Does it add more flavor? Do you just place it right on the fire?? When do you add the onion? Please explain
-
Yeah Bob. Tell us more about the onion. And I agree with you about the lookin'.
Are you at the pub today? -
I'm gonna put a brisket on tonite.Tell me more about this onion trick!
-
Whew for a minute there I thought I was the only one who didn't know about the onion!!!!

I'm not sure if adds much to the meat itself but let me tell you it drives the neighbors nuts. I used to have em come from half a block away wanting to know what I was cooking
LOL
Sometimes it would be no meat at all, just some lump, a chunk of whatever wood I had and an onion or 2 right on/in the lump.
I'm a kook and sometime had all 4 eggs going with no food in em.
But really, if you have an extra one either whole, cut it in half or quarter it and just toss the pieces in. I have always been thankful to whoever suggested it but that's me. :silly: :woohoo:
Have fun if you can try it,
Bordell
At the pub keeping my eye on my treasure, -
See my reply to Hoss below.

Oh,
When my old neighbors from the one block I was come in to the pub every now and then they are still talking about walking down the block and trying to guess if I had real food on or just the wood and onion. :woohoo:
Have fun,Bordello -
You know, some might consider that being a bit on the twisted side....me on the other hand find that to be a great marketing idea. You should pitch that to the home office. Who knows they may send you a new egg!!!!

:silly: ??? Me Twisted??? Oh I'm so glad you can't talk to my friends at the pub, they all say the have never met anyone like me.
Keep in mind, I'm real quiet, AZRP would tell ya that but he has not sat in the pub with me for over a year.
Sometimes if I come in later then normal and someone is in my seat he or she will get up and give me my normal bar stool, it is right where the Ladies lean over to wash the glasses.
Old Bordello has the best view in the house. :silly: :woohoo:
Regards,
Bordello
I didn't get this old for nothing :silly: -
