1st attempt...beef jerkey

Heading to Pikeville, TN this week to do some camping. Some beef jerkey sounded good for snacking while in the woods so I'm attempting my first batch today. Picked up some london broil, cut just right, from the butcher. Using Hi Mountain Jerkey seasoning, have a pound of original & pound of cracked pepper & garlic curing in the fridge. Tomorrow I'll fire up the BGE. Can't wait.

    Good Luck! I've had a lot of fantastic jerky from the egg - courtesy of my brother, Weekend Warrior. I haven't tried any on my own yet since I am a new egger; all in good time! ;)
