I asked the meat counter man for pork butt for pulled pork and he recommneded 7 rib roast. I have two 2-3 pound roasts with a rub on them in the fridge and hope to have them tomorrow night. There is no bone. How long do I cook them? Is 5-6 hours enough at 225? please help.

    RobC,
Most pulled pork is made from the shoulder; no ribs are present. If the butcher sold you a loin roast, which would come from the meat adjacent to the ribs, they won't be suitable for pulled pork since they do not have enough fat. If they are loin roasts, cook them at 350 until the internal temp is 145-150. Let them rest awhile and then slice. Enjoy!
