Hello all
No clinicals this week so I decided to crank out a few pies. This is my second attempt at Zas, first one was subpar :( My brother Beau and nephew Quentin helped with the assembly
The doughballs were purchased at a local pizza joint... if I screwed em' up, no big deal
Nephew-view

First pie: pepperoni, onions, green peppers

Used a spatula, an extra stone, and Weber grate for transportation. I added a few tools to the wishlist
Second pie: saurkraut, canadian bacon, onion

And lastly the leftover pie, a little of everything

The results second time around were much better. I still need to gradeate :silly: to the Zipster's dough

Great looking pies! :woohoo: :woohoo:
Where you been? Haven't seen you on the forum recently. Hope you're not working too hard. :(
BTW, when do you finish up your RN schooling"? -
Thanks for the kind words Misippi Egger

As Spring Chicken would put it, I don't get much of a chance to play with the "girls" :woohoo:
We had a guest speaker(dietician) today in lecture and I kept daydreaming about what I'm gonna cook on the egg, decided on Zas.
If all goes well, I should have my normal life back in December :laugh:BrandonQuad Cities

looks like a B+ in pizza! -
DOW,
Definitely room for improvement. Tossing the dough for the first time was fun. I had to patch a couple of holes :pinch:

OK sauerkraut goes up on the list of topping I might never try on a pizza! LOL although I am more apt to do that than Zippies octopus!

saurkraut, canadian bacon, onion  , what an interesting combination, yet another for the list of upcoming pies-to-makehappy in the hut

They look great! It's good to see that you had adult supervision, even if he was only wearing white socks. Cute kid!

Thanks guys

I probably would have burnt them if the boss wasn't checking for doneness
One of the best local pizza joints uses saurkraut.
I also thought about slicing a brat for toppings, but went with canadian bacon instead.BrandonQuad Cities
