I'll drink to that Pat. When he's off the tequilla and scotch and wine, he's really nice. :)

Hey now I cooked by him all day and he was a perfect gentleman! nothing burnt, plenty of table space.... no issues at all! But is that a secret plan or chili recipie he has all rolled up under his arm???

  That was the poster my wife made for Sydney ;)
  • And, yes, he's great guy but if you keep telling him that he's gonna believe it!

It's his wife, Joan, that's the nice one and the only reason Egret is nice is because it rubs off!

Took my rib notes for my very first class and used them to light his egg.
Took, not one table, but 1/2 of another.
    Swiped a Global Knife.
Borrowed (right) an entire bottle of rub for his ABTS.
Yes he burnt them. All 6 because he can't cook any more on a large.

I won't even give details about Hotlanta last year. When he burnt brownies and put them on my table. Spilled chicken blood all over my shirt.

He is perfect. I will get pics of him in OKC, to defuse this guy.

  • He's paying people to say nice things. You should know what he had people doing in Ocala!

Well, Mike, I don't know what brought all this on! I wanna tell you though, my friend, that I appreciate your most kind post! I'll never forget our first encounter in Waldorf a couple of years ago. And, look at you now!! An accomplished and competent BGE chef! I want you to know we have that beautiful "egret" your father carved displayed proudly in our living room.......I've been tempted to take it to some of the fests, but, I'm afraid it may get damaged. Look forward to seeing ya'll again very soon.......I hope you signed up for Drbbq's class!!
