..yeah..there was 'some' shugah, and 'some' cinnamon, but this rub has a bit of an afterkick hinting of some 'cayenne' or 'chipotle' and some very faint hints of other spices in the background...VERY nice!...I LIKE it! :woohoo:

0 • Off Topic Disagree Agree LikeIt was a lot of fun to come up with. MikeO posted a grilled pineapple recipe years and years ago (wonder what is up with him these days?) It had sugar, cinnamon and cloves. It was really nice, and I never forgot about it. Over the years I started listing other spices I thought might work to really give it some zing. I can say that there is some stuff in there that you would not expect.
Really appreciate the kind words, and you did a sweet job of cooking them up. A little more even coat of rub, and a tad more heat and browning and they're perfect
