Prime Rib tomorrow

My neighbor brought me a nice 5lbs Ranchers Reserve Rib Eye Roast bone-in and I am cooking it tomorrow. I’m thinking of using the Mad Max method. Unfortunately, the butch has removed the fat flap. Can I wrap it with bacon as an alternative? I was not going to add any smoke wood either. Any thoughts?

    You should be able to get beef fat at the supermarket for free. You can just stick it in place with toothpicks.

    Danny, I think Max's method will work with or without the fat. If you want the fat though, the bacon should work or do as Steve said. -RP
