I bought this foodsaver today at a salvage store. New in box cost me $80.10
It a model #Y3835
Must be a discontinued model
I see the new model is a # V3840 and cost 173.97 on the foodsaver website.
Looks like the same features but there must be something different.
Anyone have one like this if so, does it work ok?

  • Doug,
I picked up the model 3825 about three months ago at COSTCO. Looks just like yours. I think I paid somewhere around 129 for it. I would say you got a good deal.

  • Mine is older and not exactly like that one, but works extremely well. You should be happy.

You will love it. I figure it has paid for itself just in resealing potato chip bags. they stay fresh. Corse Neils says if you eat the whole bag then they don't go stale. and of course you need a few beers to go with it. see everything for the egg comes right back to beer??? But I keep it out on the counter all the time and find it very handy. frozen vegis seal right back up.
