two turkey breasts

i had to smoke two more turkey breasts today





this breast decided it wanted to be pulled. so i pulled it



quite possibly the most tender breast i've made. with a nice touch of cherry smoke. i can't wait to make some turkey soup with the three breast carcasses i have :woohoo:

  • Those look amazing! I love how you trimmed the breast and then cross cut across the grain.

    The pictures were phenomenal too! What was your lighting source on the 3rd through last pictures?

    Over here alle we can buy is either whole turkeys or boneless skinless single breast - for lots of money. That sucks bigtime :(

    What do you pay for a breast like that ?

  • those are acu-rite remote thermometers from lowes for about $15 on sale. i have 4 of them
  • well... those were not cheap at $4.99/pound, but they are the very best i can get around here and i think they are worth it. here's the turkey farm:
