OT - Dinner suggestions for Washington DC

I'm in DC for a conference until Wed and have Monday night free for dinner. My hotel is near DuPont Circle, but I've been to most of the restaurants in this area and would like to branch out a little. I'm pretty open to trying new things, so am open to all kinds of suggestions. All that matters is that it's GOOD food.

Suggestions?

Thanks!

Get out to Rockville and go to the Brazilian BBQ on the Rockville Turnpike.

Now if I can just remember the name of it.

You went through this routine a couple years ago so I know you are familiar with the area and its resources . .

What's now called the "Penn Quarter" - the area north of Pennsylvania Ave between (roughly) 6th St and 13th St. is loaded with good restaurants. Zaytina, at about 9th and G St., is very popular for tapas, for example. Or Chef Geoff's at 13th between E and F Sts. for more traditional but high quality American stuff.

If you feel like hopping the subway out to Bethesda, there are dozens of good places. Or, off the main routes, is Black Salt, an excellent, though pricy, seafood place on MacArthur Blvd west of Georgetown.

But Max and Chris will offer great suggestions I'm sure. Enjoy!

Yes, I definitely know the area more and more. Thanks for the suggestions. The biggest problem I have is too few days and SO many choices, LOL!
