LGE Springs

I have a LGE only about 3months old.
I have not used it for around 3 weeks.(I know, shame on me)
When I went to use it yesterday, the springs would not hold up the lid. Anyone have this problem before?
Do I need to replace the springs or what?

Yet to have this problem as mine is new but would like to track this thread in case this issue comes up.

Chances are the bolts that the springs are hooked to are loose. Check them and tighten if necessary.
This shot is upside down (I was all hopped up on pain killers when I took it), but should give you and idea:
