magnetic egg light

edited 4:54PM in EggHead Forum
is anyone else loving the egg light that was in the eggtoberfest goody bag?

that's a pretty strong magnet and it attaches nicely to the handle so when you open the egg, the light is directed right on the grid!

just don't drop it in a parking lot because it will be three pieces and finding two of them is difficult in the dark :woohoo:

Norma told me it goes on the tongs...and I believed her

  • yeah, that's how they sell it... a magnetic bbq TOOL light. just try to stick it on a curved handled bbq tool, eh? ;)

i thought the handle placement was much better. sometime you just don't want to pick up the tool ya know

I like that.. My XL is too far away from the porch light, so this will work nicely.

Glad I don't have to listen to Norma :woohoo:
  • it's very bright for being so little... the light :woohoo:

it really looks like it was made for the egg handle, dontcha think?

I can't believe this is going to be my first post.....

I've been lurking for about 2 months and egging for about a month now! Absolutely loving it and won't look back.

One of the challenges I'm having is lighting the surface area of my this little magnetic light looks awesome. Does anyone know if it is for sale anywhere?? Thanks in advance!

okay... this is gonna sound really "geeky", but I have a headlamp that I got at REI for hiking in the dark that has an elastic band... the lamp is adjustable to point down or up... I use it all the time when eggin' in the dark...

you also don't have to worry about shadows with the lamp either...
  • welcome to the cult! :woohoo:

here's the light at amazon: click

not sure if that's the cheapest place to get one, but they sure are cool!
