  • I was really wanting a table for my egg, my girlfriend had bought a dresser from an estate sale to remodel for 20 bucks. It sat in the garage a few months so I took my saws-all to it and cut a circle in the center. Well, on thankgiving I got up about 5 and started cooking the turkey. That was the first long cook in the dresser/table and sure enough, the inevitable happened. Fire started coming out from under the egg. I had been a lurker for a while, when I went to ask a question that day, I created the handle Firestarter21, seeing as I had just started a fire and I was 21 at the time. It works.
  • I'm the only Egger in Ottawa. Well...not really, but with the prices of eggs up here you don't find too many. The only eggers I know of in the region are outside of the city.

Back in my deer hunting days I missed a trophy buck on one of our hunts. One of my buds made the comment "I saw you dodge that buck" Hence my cb handle that I carry to this day.

  • Just found this thread. Interesting read. I got my screen name back when I used AIM. I live in Alpharetta and drove an Alfa Romeo, so I chose Alfalfa. Unfortunately, the name was taken, so I picked my other favorite Our Gang character: Buckwheat. Also taken. Changed the spelling around and became Buxwheat.
