OT -- The Vasity Turns 80

For several years, many Eggers have met on Friday before Eggtoberfest at The Varsity. Well, this weekend, The Vasity will celebrate 80 years s if service to Atlanta (they may even change the grease on thr fryers ... well maybe not).

Hope many of you can make the journy again this year

I had lunch there a few months ago. I gotta say I wasn't impressed with the food, but it was kinda cool anyway.

I drove right past there today on Spring Street after a few of the North Georgia Eggers met for lunch at "Fox Brothers Barbecue" which by the way was excellent, and had the best brunswick stew I have ever had.

Brad, it is a little different. It is the best late night, hangover deterent ever. The varsity drive through after a night in downtwon ATL is awesome.

Did anyone see the story about the old timer that worked the counter when he passed away just recently? I think it was on Fox News, he was a pretty amazing man. I'm sure he is missed by many.
