Has anyone ever considered switching this board to something a little more user friendly like IP.Board by Invision Power?

I read a lot of forums and most are powered by Invision. These seem to be a lot better organized than the one we are using. It looks like the standard edition is only $149 as well. Here is an example:

    This board was just switched to this layout, and it was (I think) chosen since it was able to accomodate folks who liked the original format of the board as well as those who like something more phpbb-like. Since the subject can get a little touchy sometimes, you might want to have an offline discussion with the webmaster, WMK.

    Try collapsing everything up top makes it more reader friendly. I'm a new guy too who was thrown off at first thinking I'd be clickin my brains out to read thread responses then as usual I read the instructions last -read the quickstart. Props to the web designer for designing such a customize-able layout though it will sometimes overwhelm the noobs.
