Before I got my eggs I found this Marinade recipe on the net somewhere.
It is simpe and really fantastic. Great on Steaks and excelent of dogs.
Using it on the egg really kicks thing up a notch.
It isn't all that hot but sure is good.
When doing steak, burgers, dogs I put it on 3 or 4 times per side during the cook. This requires opening the dome more than we are used to doing. I use a mustard/ketchup bottle with a very small diamater hole punched in the end. This is very liquid and does not hold on any meat.
I have not yet tried it on brisket or pork but I am going to.
I also want to try some injecting at some point in time.
Steak Marinade:
1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
3 tablespoons salt
1 Cup Water
Dissolve cayenne pepper and salt in 1 cup hot water. Transfer to a squeeze container.
Enjoy, GG
