Temp for 1/2 lb Burgers

How high should we get the dome temp for burgers? Have about eight 1/2 pounders going on this afternoon.

I usually cook mine aroud 500 degrees for about 4 minutes per side. I like mine a little more done than pink inside. (bacteria reasons) ...but that's my liking

I was going to suggest 400* for about 8 minutes a side, but I like your high and short idea better.

I like the lo & slo route. raised grid, 250°, 20 min per side. chunk of wood for smoke. Mighty tasty.
