Just wondering if any one else can smell the smoke from the swamp fire. We live just outside of Ocean City maryland and it is permeating the air. May put a damper on the outdoor BBQ today. On teh bright side I won't need chips to smoke my ribs

Heck yes. Wed, Thur and Friday we have been smelling it in Raleigh because the wind starting coming out of the east. The worst day was horrible. Visibility was way down, the sky was brownish yellow and the smell was awful. Thankfully, the wind has shifted. Sorry you are getting it now....

It was bad here in Va beach this morning... Actually from what I understand, now there are two fires, one in NC, and one in the Dismal swamp (on the VA side?)

We are going to a Tides baseball game in Norfolk this evening, hopefully won't interfere. We need rain bad!
