EVOO and Kosher salt/fresh ground black pepper.


600 is a nice enough sear.


Gave the neighbors a taste.
But dang good.

16 steaks, 11 gone already to friends and me having a couple this weekend. :woohoo:

Nice Mike,, Had my first one last week but it was small,, About 1 pound,, But the taste surprised me. have that high on my list but the butchers aren't carrying it. Found the small one at a publix of all places. You might like this,, just picked up #10 custom cut country ribs about 2" thick each. Thanks for the chop help.

What is the price on those flat irons in your area. I just bought some in OKC this afternoon on sale at Buy For Less for 2.99 lb. They are angus. Sounded reasonable.
