New cut of meat? ... it was wonderful

The butch/meat manager at Publix has been looking out for me! This week he recommended something new, Tri-Tip steaks. He said, when the get tri-tips that are not the right size or shape, they make filet like steaks from them. They turned out moist and tender with great flavor (at about 1/3 to 1/2 the cost of filets).

Since both my sife and I like the out side of the meat with seasoning and the grill marks, these were great. I did a tipical trex method.
