I want to raise my egg off the deck. What is the most comfortable height for a stand. It's a large and I'm 5'11.

What's comfortable for you, working in your kitchen? At your stove?
Are they too high or too low? As you suggest in your statement "It's a large and I'm 5'11.", it will be different for everyone. -
Well for referance I'm 5'10. I built a pad for my Medium that has grill height with platesetter at 36 inches (also mating surface of top and bottom of egg). You can see how it hits me. Perfect for me.

That's what I'm looking for. Just checked and my waist is just about even with rain cap. I figure now it has to be a foot high. Thank you very much.

i just used the height of my kitchen counter as a reference point.
