"The Chicken" without all the heat

At the risk of sounding like a wuss, I gotta confess that me nor the family are real big on the really spicy stuff. Typically, I marinade my chicken in Italian dressing and then maybe throw in a few extras depending on the mood.

So, if I go with wimpy chicken, does that have any impact on the veggies? From The Chicken recipes I've seen it looks like you cook the chicken over the veggies before the sauce ever gets introduced, and then when it does, it's inside the foil.

Just wanted to check before I got things going this evening.
