Smoked (2) 8 pound Picknic shoulders for 15.5 hours (196 internal). Used cherry wood chips and rubbed with mustard and JH Pecan Rub.

I just did pork spares with cherry and JH Pecan. If your butts are half as good as my ribs came out, they'll be a real treat.

Very nice ILL Egger!...I love ribs or butt smoked with cherry and it's hard to beat that JH Pecan..I keep both the regular and hot pecan rub as a staple in my rub cabinet at all times!!.. thanks for sharing the pix!

Nice cook! I'm going to try one of those cuts next time, instead of the Boston Butt. How come you didn't use the meat probe on the DigiQ? Just curious.
