Heres the age old equation 14 guest, how much pork butt? Given that the party starts at 6:30 saturday night I have to come up with a plan.

What else are you going to serve ? is the butt the main course? i figure about 6-8 ounces per if they are big eaters.2-4 if they are not and there is going to be lots of sides and snacks etc.
a large butt should be plenty. hope this helps -
I think an average (8 to 9 pound) would be plenty but why waste the space? Cook 2 and send them home with a doggy bag. They will brag about how good a cook you are with all that they share with.   .

14 guest will easily be feed with one 7-8 pound butt. However, cook two

As much as you can fit on the egg. There is no such thing in my book as too much pork.
