Sealing the tablle

We just took delivery of our new LGE. We bought the table to sit it in. It is raw wood. Any suggestions on either sealing or oiling it? Any recommended products. Thanks......plan to spend a lot of time on these forums.

I used Minwax spar poly satin finish on my Cedar and birch plywood table and it seems to be holding up well. I do try and keep it covered when not in use though.

That might be a bit difficult since I live in California. Sounds really interesting however. As mentioned in my first post.....I'm a newbie and will be looking for any help I can get. I'm really looking forward getting into this.

Nice table! I put three coats of marine varnish on my tables (red wood) and although they are only a couple months old they look brand new.
