That looks so good.
Stuck at work with microwave food.
At times the very high heat will play tricks on the cameras focus assist that is IR.
Try to prefocus on something on your flip table and keep the shutter pressed half way down and shift to your egg. Try and keep the distance of the two equal.
This prefocus will help with the IR problem. Not preaching just a little tip that works in most cases.
Your photos are grumbling my tummy as I type.

your out of focus shot was 1/8 second shutter speed and even your heartbeat would shake the camera at that slow of a shutter speed. anything slower than about 1/30 second needs to be real stable with no camera shake
