price range on Large Egg?
Anyone know the $ range Large eggs go for???I am thinking of adding new freind for my medium.Or maybe selling the medium/I always seem pressed for space, lately.
thanks in advance
guess this is as good a place as any to start.
Are you anywhere near a place that is having an Eggfest? Most fests have discounted prices. Ocala FL 14/15 march has some good prices.
I am in Michigan,I thought i saw one advertised in Illinois or Wisconsin ,on here last summer
I picked mine up for $629 w/ no tax and no shipping from an online source. I figured I saved nearly $270 over buying it at a local BBQ Galore after tax. Would I do it again? Definitely, everything came perfectly and the delivery driver waited while I checked to make sure everything was there and in good condition.
Picked up two large eggs this weekend for $688 each plus an additional 10% off. I live in Central Texas.
Senor Arizona --
I got a medium eighteen months ago -- and the fire box and the fire ring are disintegrating -- which is normal.
Is your online seller going to honor your on line deal, and replace your fire box and fire ring for free, including free shipping?
If so -- Great!
But otherwise, your upfront deal might turn out to be expensive...
I'll stick with my dealer... and not begrudge him the extra $25 for the Egg.
Support your local dealer!!! I bought a large about 6 months ago and thought I must have a small also! I went to my local dealer and told him an eggfest was coming up and what they would be selling for, he beat the price by $10. It was assembled and 20 minutes from home. The fire grate was already cracked on my large and he handed me one off the shelf (no charge), loaded my small and a couple bags of coal and off I went and will be back!!!!!!!!
I went to my local dealer and they offered a 15% off the large.

Don't know how close you are to the Spring Chicken in Houston but here is one listed on Craigs list.
