I am thinking sometime in July!!

I think with 47 acres I can accommodate a few eggheads. Nothing fancy, no major door prizes (well maybe if I can find a sponsor or two), no demo eggs (unless I can fine a dealer around here that knows the value of what they are selling).

If I generate enough interest maybe we'll make it official...

NC would be a good one for us. I'm not so sure about July though for us at least.

We are doing one maybe two bbq contests.

Thanks for the kind thoughts. I don't take them together, Just follow the recommended doses and rotate Rxs for different intervals. Gotta watch the acetaminophen. It's in a lot of this stuff and too much of it will hurt my liver. Gotta save some of the liver for the Abita beer.

End of May, July, September are all good.

Holding an Eggfest (official or not) October just isn't right and November is anti-climatic.. Though November probably would ease the withdrawal some :woohoo:

Right now I am just attempting to find out about potential interest. This has been attempted before and there wasn't much support.

Haha. I was refering to ponds, lakes, creeks, or rivers, not wells or fire hydrants. What part of NC are you in?

Pond on the property, river with-in 5 miles and more then a couple lakes with-in 30 miles (if the residence of Raleigh and Durham don'ty drink them all up.)

The farm is 30 South of the Virginia border and north of Raleigh\Durham.

It sounds beautiful and serene. As far as WolfFest, I hope it pans out; my only complaint about the forum is that we don't get together enough with our cyber friends. You know we are having a party April 19th.? We live about 40miles SE of Atlanta. We'd like to have come(my boys ask about you from time to time).

Doesn't Celtic Wolf have dome'd air-conditioned stadium on those 47 acres? July can be hot, but it can be acceptable also. Of course, today's paper just informed us that Raleigh will run out of water in July. Sigh....
