  • Has a "ceramic capsule" too. I had been thinking it was a lot to spend on a metal grille that wouldn't hold temps in the winter.

    Must be going for snob appeal.

    Made in Greenwood Mississippi by Viking. The story supposedly is that they approached BGE to do the ceramics; but it was declined.

    They do have an expensive table to go with it; close to $5,000.

    please go back and re-read my post. I know who made the ceramics for Viking. I've done business with the owner of Viking for years.

    all i remember is i said it had primo guts, which you replied to by saying "it's made by viking".

    since he posted a viking link to begin with, and we all know the grill is viking. then your reply implies you were saying the ceramics were by V. also.

    after BGE decllined.

    but that was just my take on it. you may have meant something totally different when you typed it the way you did. i'm always misunderstanding stuff
