Adhesive for Gasket Replacement

Hey all! I hope everyone is having a great BGE day! I am preparing to put on a new BGE gasket (one of the brand new improved ones) and had it suggested to me by guys at the mothership that I use some of the 3M adhesive spray. My question is whether or not this spray adhesive comes up clean if I need to replace the gasket again someday. It took me forever to clean the gasket adhesive from the original gasket (fried it on my second cook)and I don't want to add time to the next "scrape event". Any thoughts would be appreciated!

3M's "super77" is the stuff. it's a spray rubber-cement, essenitally. some on the gasket and some on the rim, wait a little bit til they are tacky (not wet), and adhere.

it comes off with acetone.

I have been putting on/removing the new gasket for nearly a year doing various tests. The gasket is adhesive backed. It also shows no sign of becoming loose nor have I had once come loose.
