WMK: error msge when attempting to update profiile

just to make you aware of this glitch. don't know if others are experienciing it or if others have posted about it.

i went through the "forgot password" routine. i received a generic password which does allow me to login. however when i attempt to change that password the following error message is generated:

"This e-mail is already registered. if you forgot the password click on "lost your password" and new password will be sent to you."

the result is my password is not changed.

additionally, if i attempt to change other aspects of my profile the same error message is generated with the same results
