It doesn’t get much hotter than the EGG cookin’ in July! Make sure to keep yourself hydrated with a bit of whatever you’re using for the Beer Can Chicken. Ice Cream Sandwiches are also a great way to stay cool. Looking for some great ideas for a summer cook out? Try out a Pimento Cheeseburger or Dr. BBQ’s Spare Rib Surprise. Hooter,
Sorry that I might be too late to help, just got to the 'puter.I've done beef, pork and chicken on skewers. The first time I put veggies between the meat chunks, looked good but veggies over cooked before meat got done.Anyhow I turn two firebrick on edge on main grill and suspend the kabobs between the brick.I rotate mine about every 10 minutes,BTW I found that flat skewers work heap' better than the round ones, the stuff on them don't spin around so much.Beef might take a few minutes longer than chicken or pork.Mine usually cook in about 30 min. at 350°. Good luck, just cook by the look an poke method:-)Bob
