I recall a lot of ideas about grilling corn with lime and chili or something similar. Can't seem to find in my folders and the archive search isn't working so well for me today. I'll be cooking on a neghbors (gasp!!) gasser so I thought I could use some of my egg smoke chipotle powder just to bring some egg essence with me. However, I've never put anything but butter on grilled corn, so it's all new to me. Nothing better than experimenting on your friends is what I always say![p]Thanks,[p]Ed

Mexican Grilled Corn - Serves 4
Recipe By: Tyler Florence[p]Ingredients[p] 4 ear corn
    1/2 cup mayonnaise
    1 1/2 cup sour cream
    1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan
1/4 cup freshly chopped cilantro leaves
    1 lime -- juiced
Red chili powder -- to taste
2 limes cut into wedges -- for garnish[p]Instructions[p]Remove the husks of the corn but leave the core attached at the end
so you have something to hold onto. Grill the corn on a hot grill or
cast iron griddle pan until slightly charred. Turn it so it gets
cooked evenly all over. Mix the mayonnaise and sour cream together.
Mix the Parmesan and cilantro together in another bowl. While the
corn is still warm slather with mayonnaise mix. Squeeze lime juice
over the corn and shower with Parmesan mixture. Season with chili
powder and serve with extra lime wedges.[p]
    Cook Time: 20 minutes
    Yield: 4 servings[p][p][p]

    Richard,
I've been using "Now Your Cooking" for a long time, but in the past few years I have started just storing recipes in text files in a slew of subdirectories like veggies/corn/mexican/etc. I think I just got tired of formatting the files for import. I can't search by recipe ingredients or output a shopping list, etc, but this method seems to be working for me for now.
