Has anyone cleaned the thermometer in the dome? I have had mine for a year now and was just wondering. There is a lot of carbon and grease on mine, but it still seems to work.

I clean mine whenever I calibrate them. That could be as often as 6 times a year when I'm able to cook on a regular basis.[p]Cheers,
