Speaking of Brie below, I have an idea...

my wife has done this in the oven, and I just never thought about doing it on the egg. I am sure it would be that much better on the egg.[p]Take a wheel of Brie, wrap it in whole pillsbury croissant dough and follow instructions on dough wrapper...probably 10 minutes at most. I am sure it would come out darn good...I know it does from the oven. Serve with jelly or apples, or really anything sweet or tart.[p]I plan on doing this at some point and will provide picks.

GriffinGaDawg,[p]If you want to kick it up a notch, place some thinly sliced ripe pear and brown sugar on top of the wheel before wrapping in the dough. Pastry sheets also work as an alternative to the croissant dough.

Try puff pastry dough. Also with the pear idea spread some jelly or preseves below the fresh fruit. You can also serve with a carmel or place carmel on the inside, Hoss
