No good can come of this for the trout!! Curses to the state of North Carolina for stocking trout so large I must clip the tails off to grill them!![p]

    JET, I wish I could help ya at this moment, but spring is going to bring some walleye innovations cooks here. Might work for trout too. I pass on this one.! Did you buy a mini egg?

  • Char-Woody,[p] Nope, got it for Christmas. I had been lusting after one after seeing them in action at a barbecue festival. I must have a large at some point, but within the obvious limitations, the mini has been great for my wife and me. The trout turned out beatifully cooked at 350 for about 7 min a side with alder chunks.[p]Jon[p]

    Jon Thibodeau, you did great..! I been tinkerin with the idea of doing fish and salmon in the french papillote style in the BGE. Maybe someone will beat me to it..more than likely..:-)
