Today was day ten of my Buckboard Bacon cure. I was getting ready to smoke the pork tenderloin I have been curing to make Buckboard bacon this morning. After I fired up the egg, my seven year old asked me “Daddy…..Can we make French toast on the egg?” I had not given it much thought before. So, we had French toast from the egg for breakfast. I used my Wagner 1891 skillet with the handle cut off to do the French toast for my girls and wife.[p]After that, I was able to get my bacon smoked. It turned out great!
