Has anyone found/used any pre-made pizza dough? If so, could you share your results, brand, and maybe where you can find it? I would like to try pizza but bread making and pastry have always scared me a little, read....lousy results.

orion11,[p]Go to your favorite pizza parlor. Most are willing to part with some fresh dough for a couple of bucks.[p]Spin

orion11,
If your local supermarket has an instore bakery, check with them. Publix here in Florida all have bakeries, and have pizza dough in the refrigerator section.[p]Ken

s,
Good idea, didnt think of asking a pizza place to buy some. I will look in the fridge section of the store today, maybe I was looking right at it.

orion11, at the HEB store where I buy them, they are in front of the meat deli, which is near the bakery. You'll need to ask a store clerk where they are; sometimes they are stored in unlikely places.

orion11,
Perhaps if you would tell us where you live someone could even direct you to a spot by name!

RRP,
Phoenix Arizona is my humble abode. Although, with it hitting 118 degrees F. friday, I'm thinking of moving!!

orion11,
Like Blue Smoke and a couple others have said, the local grocery might sell it. Publix (in TN) sells 1 lb dough balls for $1.69 in the refrigerated part of their deli/bakery. [p]I always cut mine in half so I can have thinner crust. :~) [p]Good Luck![p]Adrian

s,[p]I agree..find a local..pizza place. Not a chain..[p]Go in and ask..Most will be happy to sell you dough..It is already made and all they have to do is hand it to you to make money!!

orion11,
You should have a Trader Joes near you. We get their fresh pizza dough all the time. They have regular and whole wheat. Really inexpensive -- about $1.10 for a good size bag (two thin crust mediums).
