Smoked crackers

A coworker mentioned having eaten some smoked saltine crackers in a bar somewhere. She asked me to try it since she doesn't partake in most BBQ I share at work. (About the only meat she likes is chicken. We think she might be communist or a fledgling vegan. Either way we're not sure if we can trust her. )
So after a Google search for a starting point, here's my attempt:
Although i am I am doing my best to stay away from carbohydrates I had to try one. I thought it's like a salty, smoky Chicken in a Biskit cracker. It's something different.

They look good! They also look like you did something more than just stick saltines in the Egg. Did you put a rub on them? Do something else?

WOW -- that's a lot more than just smoking some saltines! Sounds great, though! Thanks!
