Table Dimensions

I am really hung up on my height dimensions for my XL BGE. I plan on having a Table Nest along with a granite top and plan to put granite on theportion where the egg would sit. Anyone see any issues?
I figure 34" tall would be fine with 5" casters, but the 5" drawer area under the egg seems small. Thoughts? Also, I want to make sure that I am incorporating the table nest height correctly. I am allowing 15" from the top of the shelf to the top. Any guidance would be awesome!

I used the large one when I built my table, this is from BGE and what they recommend.

Make sure to leave enough distance under the hinge. When the egg opens the hinge drops down a bit, as the least the ones with the old style bands.

I was going to ask the granite folks to put a notch in the back so that I don't have to worry about that.

Add the thickness of granite to overall height. If you are taller than normal, your extra height shouldn't be a problem. Most tables are about 36" to table top but eggs set up higher. Having the notch will bring it down some. The XL egg is not as tall as large so keep that in mind for dimension between top and where the egg will sit.

5" for the drawer is pretty small. How much room is there actually going to be in there once the drawer is built? Maybe 4.5"? Is that tall enough for the plate setter? I'd have to measure my drawer, don't remember what height it is.Aledo, Texas

I have decided to go with smaller casters and not take into account the table nest. That adds like 4 inches back in which would make the drawer about 9 inches.
