Rare steak

I ate one of the best steaks last week at a restaurant, (I know weird right?).

I ordered medium how I usually like, or at least how I've become accustomed to cooking for my wife at home, in the 135 - 140 range. It was given to me in form that I would  consider rare, and I loved it :-) 

So with the kids and the wife visiting in-laws and being left to my own devices I decided to cook a rare steak for dinner! 



Above was in the thickest part right after pulling


I poured a quarter stick of melted butter on top for good measure! Thanks for looking :-)
