Given the strong approval ratings on this forum, I bought a substantially discounted ANOVA immersion heater on Amazon's warehouse  Tried it out tonight on a 1 inch rib eye steak at 130 degrees for 1 1/4  hours and then browned in a cast iron skillet with olive oil and butter on high heat for 1 1/4 minutes, flipping every fifteen seconds.   Turned out great.   Weather was a little cold for the BGE.    I can foresee how they will work well together.
