By looking at these pictures is my adapter for my minimax installed correctly or do I need to flip this little silicone piece the other way?
The instructions say event base should be pressed down to flared edge of the dome but the picture doesn't really show much detail.

The adaptor will normally have some writing indicating "this side up" or "Top". I see you have gasket material around the chimney too which could hinder installing (if it doesn't then don't worry about it).
