this was too easy, 140 for 2.5 hours, didnt even bother to sterilize the jars

I was wondering what the heck the point was of using sous vide for something that doesn't require heat in the first place, and then I saw, "didn't even bother to sterilize the jars..." Now THAT sounds like an advantage!!!

the low temps also keeps them crisper, im thinking canning temps would turn them to mush. these had the lids pop with the low temp bath
