Forum Maintenance on a Saturday Afternoon? WTFO?

Am I the only one who thinks that non-emergency maintenance scheduling is in need of help?
 What follows is from Vanilla:
"Scheduled - Starting at 2PM Eastern Time on May 14th, Vanilla's hosting environment will be in a maintenance window for 6 hours. During this time, all nodes in the environment will be rebooted at least once and as a result there will be some instance downtime which will impact customer forums. We expect the actual outage period to last for approximately 45 minutes." 
Edit: But we are back and live.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.
