My week.. Friend, chunks, brisket

Long, long week in Allentown Pennsylvania. Got to meet @hapster in person finally. Nice guy... Had wawa at least twice. (it's a store he works for, we didn’t get freaky)  Scored an entire barrel of Jack Daniel's barrel oak. 


Need a brisket for chili... Cook-off and fishing trip. Not a bad price for Middle Tennessee. Asked Sher-bear for the smallest packer brisket they had... Got home and she brought the biggest they had... Lmao 


220 all night with rain possible... Redneck cap on. 


God it's good to be home.

Wish I could have met up, work got in the way. Enjoy that brisket, make some burnt ends out of the point, you'll still have plenty flat left for chili.

I have spent a great deal of time in that general area for work.  I love WaWa.  In the morning I usually grab a coffee and a sub for lunch.  

Did you get a cheesesteak while you were in the area?

Unfortunately no. I wish we had stores that had their process of ordering and paying. Coffee was good.
