First Time Smoke - 2 Boston butts

First time doing a smoke. Picked Boston butts for pulled pork cause it's just delicious. The smaller of the two came off at 12:09pm with an IT of 203. I put it in FTC and just pulled it. Used a BBQ hog rub and apple wood and hickory.
Second butt is still going after a very stubborn stall starting at 194.

Your butts look great. I applaud cooking them to 200, that's how we do it. I hope they taste great.

They were excellent. First one finished in 17 hours and 9 minutes. The bigger of the two was stubborn in the 190s. Taking over 3 hours to get from 196 to 201. Total time for the big one was 22 hours. Might run a little hotter next time to finish it faster. Average grid temp was 230s throughout.Brace yourself,

Very nice! Every cook, and every piece of meat is a different experience! I do my butts and shoulders for pulled pork at 250, 'til 210 IT.
