Chicken Quarter a la Mickey, Sprouts, and New BGE Book

Options
I made a chicken quarter on the Mini just like Mickey told me to--375° raised, and FLIP FLIP FLIP. It took less than 20 minutes.

I made Brussels sprouts in the countertop oven this way:

It's different than the usual roasting till crisp because it steams first. DIDN'T LIKE IT. Forget the water and foil.

I tried the Big Green Egg cooking method by Eric Mitchell in the new book Smoking Like a Pro. He leaves the bottom vent wide open and uses the daisy wheel for adjustments. It was way too hot so I closed the bottom halfway. I never use a screen but he always does (concrete patio for me).

Another hit for Mickey. Don't think the pink area isn't done--it was perfect. I have no idea what that is.
