I'm really looking forward to it. I have the XL but I figure on a day to day I can use the mini to make my dinner
-
The Mini Max is very versatile a great addition to the XL.
-
Love my Mini Max and don't regret the purchase one bit. It's the perfect compliment to my XL. On nights when it's just the wife and I it's perfect for a couple salmon steaks. Just made a couple of ribeyes the other night that were amazing.
I'm sure you'll love it and the versatility that it brings to your cooks. I know it's upped my Egging game. Whereas prior to owning it, I'd be reluctant to light up the XL for a couple pieces of salmon. Now there's no hesitation with the Mini Max. I can egg whenever I want.
Cheers!

Nice! that is amazing. I realized that after I bought it, I thought about how much more efficient it is vs the XL. Also, I love the fact that I can take it with me when I go fishing for a weekend.

Its an elite club...haha. Welcome. You can now say to yourself, you've made it!Seattle, WA

Nice! Elite! Love it

I've had mine just over a week and it's a blast to use. I got it to take on vacation this summer but I've been using it a lot when I'm cooking for 2 to 4 people. It heats up fast and uses a lot less charcoal.Lg & MM BGE, Humphrey’s Battle Box | Palatine, Illinois

What do you guys cook on it? I am wondering how much food does it fit.

Thanks.. great link!

Drooling! I like your setup, how many bricks did you need for the XL? I am trying to figure out if I should build something like that. Also, did you use something to glue them or did you just lay them out?
-
Here's a better pic just stacked and used cement on top layer to tie together.
-
Not fancy but works
-
How many stones would you say you need? I am trying to figure out the cost VS a table.

WOW I cant wait to get my mini!!! This is making me very happy

@paqman , thanks for posting the wing pic. Wife requested wings for dinner one night this week and it'll be my first attempt on the Mini Max. Should be no problem. Still pondering making a two tier for the Mini Max for cooks like Wings, etc.

@YEMTrey Been so doggone busy I haven't posted my cooks, trips, etc
And Same with HuskerMaMa.
We've been working hard and playing hard. Just made it to the beach last weekend and got our annual sticker for our truck. It's been in the 80s consistently so, it is officially beach season for us. The MM will be accompanying us each and every time.LBGE 2013 & MM 2014Die Hard HUSKER & BRONCO FANFlying Low & Slow in "Da Burg" FL -

@NPHuskerFL where did you get your cart? Does the MM flex the shelf? It's a heavy little sucker.Lg & MM BGE, Humphrey’s Battle Box | Palatine, Illinois

I was going to ask the same question.

@buzilo I too have a xl and some times think it's a chore to fire it up just for a steak or two. So back before Xmas I found a deal on a KJ Jr. I just used it for and he first (and second) time in the last four days. I have to say that if the KJ JR and MM are the same size you will be -
@mgd_egg Purchased the cart at Sam's Club. The shelving doesn't flex that I have ever noticed. It's a nice little cart for the price. As you see I have a tile (rough texture porcelain) that sits below the max. One of my industrial accounts let me have this piece as it was a discontinued vendor tile (size ref is 16x24 or roundabout close to that).
