Honey Glazed Salmon

My bride and I split a salmon filet last night. Trying to get back on track with the diet. Made a glaze out of some local wildflower honey, lime juice, orange peel, lemon peel and S&P. Simple meal but it hit the spot.

Looks good man. We have the fish+broccoli on the menu weekly to try to stay on track. Your salmon looks way tastier than mine. May have to borrow that glaze

Lookin' good, Dyal. :-bd We've got some salmon and brocolli in the fridge right now. How'd you cook the green stuff? Got cheese on it?

Thx fellas! @Griffin, the broccoli and cheese was just the steam fresh stuff that we doctored up with more cheese.

I got a steamer around Christmas and we've been using that a lot for veggies. And tamales.

Always looking for a new twist on a salmon dish. Might do great on a cedar plank, too.

Wow that looks great!  Last time I tried salmon on grill it was a dried out disaster.  How did you cook this?  Looks like direct?  Temp?

Hey Doofus... lol. I grilled it raised direct at around 400 deg f dome temp. The internal temp was about 140 when I took it off. Then let it rest for a few minutes.

Ah, I didn't have it raised, probably why it got more dried out than I cared for.  Will try raised next time!
